On this day we say: Farewell Sajio, farewell dear friend!

Today, 2 November 2020, is the 3rd anniversary of Sajio Sumida’s death.

It's exactly three years since we have last met with our friend Sajio like we were used to at Congresses anywhere in the world...

One World Congress of the ISC has already gone by without Sajio Sumida... Three years have passed with us bereft of hearing Sumida's voice...

Sajio Sumida will always be remembered by all those who have had the privilege of meeting him as a highly-valued friend, a brilliant researcher, a true gentlemen, a human being who exemplified dignity...

With this in heart, I’d like to send around the first essay published in March 2018, where the first thoughts about Sumida's death were expressed. Please take a look at the enclosure.
