Spontaneous hypotension (SIH) caused by cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage in craniocervical junction, which is very rare, has been reported in a few cases. Considering that cervical epidural space is more compact compared to thoracolumbar one, X-ray fluoroscopy-guided percutaneous epidural blood patch (EBP) are challenging in patients with craniocervical CSF.

ISC President Prof. Yueyong Xiao together with his team evaluated the safety and efficacy of CT-guided EBP which is feasible in patients with spontaneous high level (C1-C3) CSF leakage. The original manuscript was entitled “CT-guided autologous blood patch for high-level cervical cerebrospinal fluid leakage: imaging characteristics and treatment safety and efficiency” which was accepted for publication in the European Neurology recently. Once the article be published online, the link will be added on the website in time.

We sincerely thank Prof Dr. Patrick Le Pivert, Executive members of ISC Board of Governors, for his guidance in the process of writing the manuscript.

We sincerely thank Prof Dr. Nikolai N.Korpan, Honorary President  of 21st ISC, for his advice and help in the process of reviewing the manuscript.

At the same time, we have received a lot of congratulations. Thank you.
