Prof. Elizabeth Kozachuk shared the application of cryogenic technology in the complex treatment of pancreatic cancer in Ukraine. The use of cryosurgical technologies in the complex treatment of malignant pancreatic neoplasms can increase the median survival and quality of life of such patients, prevents the development of surgical complications of the tumor process and expands the possibilities for chemotherapy. Potentiation of cryogenic effects by intratumoral administration of distilled H2O allow to increase the effectiveness of local cytodestructive action of ultra-low temperatures and improve the long-term results of complex treatment of patients with resectable forms of pancreatic cancer.

Elizabeth Kozachuk教授为大家分享了低温技术在乌克兰胰腺癌复杂治疗中的应用。在恶性胰腺肿瘤的复杂治疗中应用冷冻消融技术，可以提高这类患者的中位生存率和生活质量，防止肿瘤过程的手术并发症的发生，扩大化疗的可能性。通过瘤内注射蒸馏水来增强低温效应，可以提高超低温的局部细胞破坏作用的有效性，改善可切除胰腺癌患者的长期综合治疗效果。
