Short-time Cryo CV

  • For the first time ever, in the 1980s, the definition of modern cryosurgery was introduced as well as the fundamental theoretical, experimental, and clinical studies began on modern cryosurgery in collaboration with engineers and designers.

  • The first scientific presentation on the student scientific conference pointed on possibility of cryosurgery in oncology with published original abstract. Kyiv Medical Institute (since 1995 National Medical University), Kyiv, 03/1981.

  • The first clinical experience using modern cryosurgery in abdominal surgery, especial pancreas and liver, with published original papers and dissertation.  Kyiv Medical Institute (since 1995 National Medical University), Kyiv, 03/1982-1985.

  • Fundamental studies of biologic living substances: tissue and cells in animal provided a platform to understand the mechanisms of damage and the pathogenesis of frostbite during low temperature exposure.

  • First introduction and performing of modern cryosurgery not only in palliative oncology but as a curative treatment option in surgical oncology.

  • The first novel clinical experience using modern cryosurgery in palliative and curative oncolgy of liver, pancreas, breast, stomach, colon, anal, melanoma, skin, thyroid, lymph nodes, soft tissue (sarcoma) with published original papers. Vienna, Austria, since 1995 – at present.

  • Discoveries and Phenomena in living matter: “Cryosurgical Lunar Eclipse”, “Cryogenic Protein Denaturation”, “Anthill Provocation Stimulus Phenomenon”, “Cryosurgical Avascular Tumor”.

  • New Terminology and Definition: Cryoscience, Cryogenic denaturation, Cryophenomen, Cryoapoptosis, Cryonecrosis, Cryogenic anti-angiogenesis, Nano-Cryoscience, Nano-Cryomedicine, Nano-Cryotreatment, Nano-Cryoablation, Nano-Cryoengineering, Nanocryogenic Technology, Nano-Cryoinstrument, Nano-Cryoprobe, Nano-Cryodevice, Nano-Cryoneedle, CryoVaccine, etc.

  • For the first time, summarized a long-term follow-up clinical experience with cryosurgery for treatment of liver metastases. The data of this 10-year prospective, randomized clinical trial suggest that hepatic cryosurgery is effective in the treatment of resectable and non-resectable liver metastases (Ann Surg 1997;225:193-201).

  • Both the formulation of a new concept concerning the clinical and technical requirements for modern cryosurgery and a new anticancer concept strategy including modern cryosurgery as a crucial and standard phase of each interventional surgical procedure and operation.

  • Basic research for the interventional CryoDiagnostic in oncology using deep freezing of malignant tissue.

  • The cryosurgical oncology could consists of the immobilisation tumor cryodiagnosis, nano-cryoscience, nano-cryomedicine, nano-cryosurgery, nano-cryoequipment, endoscopic cryosurgery, especially colon and stomach, navigation cryoscience and cryosurgery, anticancer cryovaccine, preventive cryomedicine in people with high-risk tumor, thyroid-cryosurgery, etc.

  • Therefore, a new standard for oncological diagnosis and surgery has established a new level in the current and future of modern science and modern medicine.

  • Original Papers and Abstracts - 248  (including the peer-reviewed Top-Journals: Annals of Surgery (USA), American J of Surgery, American J of Surgical ResearchJ of the American College of Surgeons, Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment (USA), etc.), including 10 monograhps on cryosurgery as author and editor.
