Dear Friends,
We sincerely invite you to participate in the 21st World Congress of the ISC to be held online due to pandemic restrictions on November 27-28, 2021.
It has been nearly half a century since the ISC was first established in Vienna, Austria, in June 1972. The ISC has been dedicated to promoting research and continuing medical education in the fields of cryosurgery, cryo-immunology, cryobiology, cryopreservation, and low-temperature medicine. Thanks to the efforts of experts all over the world, cryosurgery has evolved rapidly, including the definition of standards for cryosurgical approach of benign and malignant tumors and the NCCN guidelines related to the cryoablation of tumors. Cryosurgery has been accepted and recommended by clinical experts in various fields.
Since the establishment of the new 21st ISC academic group in Haifa, Israel in September 2019, we have dedicated ourselves to the development and promotion of cryotherapy, and have held a number of conferences on the topic of cryotherapy. There are special sessions on cryotherapy in various small and large minimally invasive interventional conferences in China. During the pandemic, experts from the ISC linked to the SIO experts for online international discussions on cryoablation therapy. Cryotherapy is reaching into every area of clinical treatment and is performing a critical role.
In the past two years, the world has been in the war against a common enemy, the novel coronavirus COVID-19, and people have become distant from each other. However, with the united efforts of people all over the world, the world will soon break out of the gloom of the pandemic. Viruses cannot hinder the development of human civilization. In the past two years, medical experts from all over the world, adhering to our common belief, have always taken the development and promotion of cryotherapy technology as their responsibility and goal, and have innovatively reported a great number of important research results in international journals.
Beijing is the political, cultural, scientific, and technological innovation and international communication center of China, as well as a world-renowned ancient capital with both the spectacular Great Wall, the beautiful Forbidden City, and world-class research institutes. On behalf of the ISC Organizing Committee and my Chinese colleagues, I most sincerely invite you from all over the world to attend the coming 21st World Congress of the ISC online to share cryotherapy technologies and achievements.
We look forward to warmly welcoming you to the upcoming and long-awaited ISC Online Academic Congress.
Finally, we wish the 21st World Congress of the ISC to be held successfully.

第二十一届国际冷冻治疗学术大会邀请函
尊敬的 国际冷冻治疗学会 会员，朋友们，
我们诚意邀请你参加将于2021年11月27-28日举行的第21届国际冷冻治疗学大会，鉴于疫情的限制此次大会将采用线上的方式进行。
自1972年6月在奥地利的维也纳首次建立学会开始，至今已有近半个世纪。ISC一直致力于推动冷冻外科、冷冻免疫治疗、冷冻生物学、冷冻保存、低温医学等领域的研究和继续医学教育。在世界各国专家的努力下，冷冻疗法飞速发展，包括确定了冷冻治疗良恶性肿瘤的标准以及与肿瘤冷冻消融相关的NCCN指南等。冷冻疗法已被各领域的临床专家所接受和推崇。
自新一届的ISC学术团体于2019年9月在以色列海法市成立后，我们致力于冷冻治疗的研发和推广，召开了多次冷冻专题的小型学术会议，在中国的大大小小的各种微创介入会议上都设有冷冻消融治疗的专场，在疫情期间ISC的专家连线国际肿瘤介入协会的专家就冷冻消融治疗进行网上国际讨论。冷冻治疗正深入到临床治疗的每个区域，发挥着重大作用。
在过去的两年里，我们全世界正处于抗击新冠病毒这一共同敌人的战争之中，人与人之间的距离也变得遥远。但是，在全世界人民团结一致的努力下，世界将会很快走出疫情的阴霾。病毒并不能阻碍人类文明的发展。近两年来，来自世界各地的医学专家秉承我们共同的信念，始终将冷冻治疗技术的发展和推广作为自己的责任和目标，在国际期刊上创新性发表了大量的重要研究成果。
北京是中国的政治、文化、科技创新和国际交往中心，也是世界著名的古都，既有壮观的长城、美丽的故宫，也有着世界一流的科研院所。在此，我谨代表ISC筹备委员会及中国的同行们，最诚意的邀请来自世界各地的您参加即将召开的第21届世界冷冻学会，分享冷冻治疗技术和成果。
最后，预祝第21届世界冷冻治疗学术大会成功召开。
