The 6th Academic conference of Asian society of Cryosurgery was successfully heldfrom August 23 to 25, 2019, atLanhai Hotel, Weifang City, Shandong Province, China. The conference was sponsored by Asian Society of Cryotherapy, Chinese Society ofInterventionaland Minimally Invasive Therapy of China Medical EducationAssociation.
More than 500 experts, scholars and physicians from China and the Asia-Pacific region attended the conference.

With the arrival of the era of precise and individualized medical treatment, the concept of cancer treatment is undergoing tremendous changes. With the continuous renewal and progress of precise and minimally invasive medicine, the treatment of cancer tends to be more minimally invasive, efficient and individualized. Cryoablation has its own unique advantages. In clinical practice, cryoablation plays an important role in cancer treatment because of its advantages of easy monitoring of ablation range, high tolerance of patients and easy activation of tumor immunity in patients. Cryoablation and other ablation techniques provide abundant selection methods for clinical tumor ablation, and make the ablation reach the best level of minimally invasive interventional individualized treatment, and gradually become the mainstream direction of cancer treatment.
The purpose of this conference is to focus on the frontier of medical cryotherapy development, update the academic team, strengthen academic exchanges in Asia and the world, and promote new minimally invasive technologies and clinical applications of cryotherapy, so as to lead the comprehensive development of cryotherapy in Asia. The successful holding of this conference will surely lead the new development of cryotherapy in Asia and create a new brilliance of cryotherapy in Asia.
